In my final days before skiing Switzerland and France, I added Milan and Bellagio (Lake Como) to my itinerary, getting a further taste of Northern Italy.
Aside from high Fashion, Milan’s massive Duomo was also a draw.
The unexpected came from the Monumental Cemetary to the north. Many famous sculptors have created some stunning pieces, many grotesques, but also many that are joyous and a beautiful celebration of a lost loved one. A sample below, or more here
