7 years ago, on a drive through the Black Forest, I stopped at Baden-Baden, and indulged a few hours in the old-world Friedrichsbad Roman-Irish Baths/Spa. I returned to enjoy this experience again over a few days, instead of a few hours, along with the sister Spa Caracalla, and wander around this beautiful Bavarian town.
Caracalla Spa is more modern, and allows a more family experience of bathing, brine & steam rooms in the non-textile-free area.
If you want to indulge in the Saunas, then that is textile-free.
Friedrichsbad Baden-Baden however is all textile-free.
As such, there are no interior photos, but you will get an idea if you follow the hyperlinks I have provided.
The Baden Baden Christmas Markets were concentrated in one large area, but the town had a few other square & boulevards of dazzling Christmas Lights & Displays.
There are numerous hiking areas surrounding, and I took opportunity to visit a Castle ruins, coming up next.
