The Luxor Museum was a short walk from the hotel we stayed at, and beautifully displayed. Some quite special statues and a couple of mummies, along will photography allowed via an extra ticket. A worth while couple of hours.
The Egyptian Museum in Cairo has a new building underway, and one would hope they model the displays after this fine work.
We were allocated 2 days in Luxor, and I would suggest 4 or 5 would have been more appropriate given the west bank attractions including the Valley of the Kings.
