The Dynjandi Falls can be seen from miles away.

A nice thing about these highlighted waterfalls in Iceland, is they are quite diverse in size, nature, volumes etc etc. You cold get blaze seeing similar falls over & over, yet the “named” falls of Iceland each have something special to offer.

Dynjandi Falls are much taller than some, perhaps it’s the car park perception, looking way up to the top of these falls, as they terrace down a few steps before making it to the Fjord.

I arrove on a rainy day, and while there was a reasonably well formed path to climb, the driving rain made it a little uncomfortable to hike up, so I made it about half way, got these photo’s during a break in the rain, and moved on, but I could image taking a lot longer to walk higher and take in this majestic waterfall further.
