If you enjoy driving, the Yorkshire Dales are worth a day or so to meander.
I sort of expected moors and alike, and instead found a varied landscape, with many mountains, valleys and country laneways.
I mapped out a route, again using best motorcycle rides as a basis to join together a logical way to experiencing the Dales.
I was aware that involved many single laned roads; but navigating those was at times quite a handful. Often, there is little warning of oncoming vehicles, or worse, large farm machinery; that gives you nowhere to pass other than to reverse.
I hope you enjoy the photo’s, and if you venture into the Dales, take your time, drive carefully, and stop often to take it in.
