Travel The Bucket List

Norway Dalsnibba

Approaching Geiranger from the south/west, you will come across signs for Dalsnibba. Access to the top by car requires a fee paid at a boom gate booth; but the fee will be worth it.

You then drive up a winding road with hairpin bends, to quiet a large platform for parking, and viewing. There was also some overflow parking along the way, testament to it’s popularity.

About 1500 metres up, the views are amazing. Not only down the valley to Geiranger, but also to the adjacent mountains, still hosting ice caps in September.

My photos’ below are taken with my Samsung S7; but there are many much better shots of this vista on the web. on a fine day, most camera’s won’t do justice to the panorama before you

WILT – What I am listening to ?

Don’t try to read too much into these WILT’s, it’s often just that earworm from my music library
