Ok, coming to the end of this journey, and spent a couple of nights in Kelowna for a variety of reasons.
Silverstar tops my list from this discovery tour, and Kelowna is the main town & airport that accesses Silverstar about an hour to the north, so with the potential to expatriate, I wanted to get an idea of the lifestyle and services available nearby.
Well, colour me impressed. On the edge of the Okanagan Lake, there is a fabulous mix of parks, shopping, pubs and restaurants to enjoy, and the locals certainly take full advantage of the Lake for all manners of water activity.
Leaving Kelowna, and heading to Seattle to catch up with friends, I stopped at the Othello Tunnels outside of Hope. Got there early, and truly enjoyed the walk & experience
