As you approach the Glacier Lagoon from the west, you will come upon a bridge, and just before that bridge, it you turn right, you can park at the mouth of the outlet river from the lagoon.
You will find numerous bergs there, grounded on the beach, able to be walked up to and touched. You will likely also witness bergs floating out to see in the rapid current. Between those bergs, were a few playful seals, popping up and down in the current.
This free side attraction is well worth a stop before crossing the bridge and turning left to get to the tour operators.
