Luxor Temple sits at the other end of the avenue of Sphinx to Karnak Temple, featuring an impressive Obelisk, whos’ sister is found in Paris at Place de la Concorde
Elements towards the back have evidence of Christians painting over sections with motifs, and ancient graffiti is also evident; but oddly, the fascination with the male member was depicted all too often.
Hard to say if that was original or chiselled in later, but some odd graphics of manhood, and a very curious chiseling of the male seed. How would anyone back then have known what that looked like under a microscope, to depict ? (photos below)
